I have been taking Adderall XR (20mg) for about 6 years. For the first 4 years, I paid $50 for a one month sulppy, with which I was fine. Then, without notification of any sort, my insurance company stopped covering ALL medications for mental health, which includes Adderall. That shot the cost up to $250 for a month's sulppy. I soon switched insurance companies, only to find that I still had to pay $250 a month for my medication. The only difference is that the Walgreens bag with my bottle of pills says Your insurance saved you $110. So obviously I was thrilled to learn that there is a generic version. I got that instead when I refilled my prescription this week. The cost was about $20 less, it doesn't work nearly as well and it gives me awful stomachaches. I'm at the point where I can't refill my prescription every month, and my work and school performance without it is abysmal. So do I think they charge too much for ADHD medication? Yes. Yes I do.- Sorry for not being very constructive. I needed to vent.

dauthi - You husband would be no match for my dyinzizg intellect and maximally effective arguments. The very existence of Cirque de Soleil is reason to accept the phrase "very unique."Craig - yeah, I read a little AP Stylebook from time to time.. it's no big deal. Skelbo14 - It could have been a lot worse. At least I used proper grammar to joke about grammar. :)

We did not increase the dose of my sons Strattera until this smemur. He is now 10 years old. We noticed a drop in his school work and grades towards the end of last year. He made a comment to one of his teachers that he couldn't think straight and we didn't feel like we had any choice but to increase the dose from 25mg to 40mg. We noticed a slight increase each month for the 25mg dose and the final prescription that I had filled was around $145.00. Last month was the first prescription I filled the 40mg dose and it was $179.85. The worst part is that our 6 year old son seems to be following the same path and has extreme difficulty focusing on any task for more than a few minutes, which of course gets him in trouble and he hates school because of it. I can clearly see that we will probably be spending $400.00 a month or more on Strattera for both of them. As a parent I don't see that we have any other choice. It has completely changed my oldest sons life and ours! It is a wonderful drug and I only hope that there is a time when it is more affordable for those who are not insured or as in our case, under insured.

it is injected into the same times day.Follow the diertcions on your prescription refilled before you run out of medicine completely. Your blood may need to check you at regular visits. Do not inject into the syringe into the tube. Add 2

I also hate the way some people add an uceannssery article to store names. "I'm going to the Wal-Mart." No, you're going to Wal-Mart. "The" is only necessary when not saying the proper name of the store or when the proper name includes the word "the". I'm going to the store = yes. I'm going to the (ok, I can't think of a store name that starts with "the", but I'm sure you get the point..

Am I the first person to noitce and actually leave a comment on this? I absolutely love you and this blog, I think you're a bloody genius--but shouldn't the "and" in this sentence be "an"?'-eaux is supposed to make and "o" sound.'Please correct and embarrass me if I'm wrong. Not bringing this up would hurt my head. I have severe OCD and not mentioning this would be like being trapped in a duct-taped shut refrigerator box with a bear AND a land-shark to my brain. I love you, a lot.PS I'm gay so it's totally an admiration kinda love and not a creepy stalker/raper kinda love.

I used to be covered under Shire's pianett assistance plan for Adderall XR. Then Shire released Vyvanse and, without giving any advance notice, eliminated their pianett assistance program for Adderall. When I went to fill my prescription that month, I was told I would have to switch over to this new medicine, even though the warnings clearly state that I cannot take it due to a drug interaction. I wrote Shire, explaining the issue, hoping they would reinstate even a portion of their program for those who cannot take this new drug, but their response was a coupon to try Vyvanse.I cannot afford Adderall XR, so now I work two jobs to afford the non-extended generic version. Even so, I have to make my monthly prescription last 2-3 months if I want to eat and pay my rent.I work at the bottom rung in society and it's hard, because I have a very high IQ and, if properly medicated, could do so very much more. How many people does our government and big business throw away every year with its selfish, short sighted thinking? I live in a state where most doctors refuse to prescribe stimulants at all, so fighting to survive is a daily battle that leaves little room for anything else. The law gives those with physical disabilities far greater protection than those with mental ones. I pray someday that will change.

I know this is an old post, but I just found your blog so I'm reading back. I think Jake is wrong to ausmse that typos are anything more than typos. :-P to Jake.I will attempt to correct you on something though, but it is something that I noticed in another post and I don't remember what post it was. You wrote "snuck" instead of "sneaked". Just wanted to point that out because it kind of reminded me of the whole dive/dove thing and I wasn't sure you were aware of it because it's not one of those words that tends to come up often.Love your blog! Thanks for providing me with so many hours of entertainment today.

"Other languages are less awesmoe than French because they use fewer unnecessary letters."I thought the crux of your French thing was that the French language is less awesmoe than other languages... and cut the French some slack... maybe they're just trying to be more unique?Seriously though... that unique thing isn't as cut and dry as you make it seem. I think it's a definition that's been changed to include its most regular use nowadays, and what that word originally meant was something that did not make sense to superlify. If you're one of a kind, you're one of a kind. You're not very one of a kind. That very just describes the distance you are from normal, which is an adjective more like strange or unusual. No?

Kritta22 - I am so glad someone is reaindg my labels! angryredhead - I don't know about eliminating it, but it would definitely be nice to have an explanation for it!Skelbo14 - whoa, whoa, whoa, my friend! The first matter of business is to address the issue of this being a humor blog - I write things because I know they are ridiculous (even if I am, like, at least 15% serious). As for my apparent contradiction, it was a sarcastic sentence, imitating the sentiments the French hold of themselves. And please don't worry! - the French are a confident people - I think they can withstand my joking. :)lotgk - I thought of you when I was writing that part. I thought "I hope lotgk reads this and laughs" and you did! Yay!Nooter- thanks Nooter! :) So are you :)

"retarded," I don't think we even associate it with deibalsd individuals - I mean, we also say "bad" when we mean "good" or "ill" when we mean "fantastic." It is the same when someone says "that's gay" to mean that something really sucks. It may have started out as something derogatory to homosexuals, but people say it so much that its meaning has been completely separated from its origin - its just a phrase now. I don't know if any of that made sense, but I am so very glad you realize that I am not trying to be ignorant or offensive. As far as Brett Favre goes, I have always chalked it up to his manliness being so strong that it mixed up phonetics as we know it. He's like Chuck Norris only moreso. Jamie - When my friend, Ben, first told me that he was working at a summer camp for kids with "ass burgers" I thought he was joking. He could not convince me that it was a real disorder. BTW, I loved the way you worked the French thing in!

that's interesting about the cegarhrs! But this one is USB. Not sure what's wrong with it @Greg, I hadn't even thought of that. I can't imagine anything classic enough for Anne (who came into being in 1908) to getting flagyl without doctor be quoting would still be in copyright, but I would believe Amazon was playing it getting flagyl without doctor safe except that getting flagyl without doctor the Kindle format also cut her prayer the first night at the getting flagyl without doctor Cuthberts', which she wrote herself. So I'm pretty sure Amazon just cut everything that was blockquoted. In fact, I have yet to see any book including more current ones with only one Amazon edition which I paid real money for getting flagyl without doctor have getting flagyl without doctor any text formatting or layout. It can be very confusing to getting flagyl without doctor tell what's quoted, for getting flagyl without doctor instance, when everything uses the same font and is justified the getting flagyl without doctor same.

If Anne of Green Gables was quoting poems by other aurohts, it getting flagyl without doctor might conceivably be missing them due to idiotic copyright issues (even if Anne is getting flagyl without doctor out of copyright, it might not imply that about the getting flagyl without doctor poems or the publisher might just be playing it safe). I had getting flagyl without doctor this issue listening to the audiobook version of City of God by E.L. Doctorow. There's a part where the book quotes a few lines of Me and My Shadow , and getting flagyl without doctor for the love of God the audio version actually states that getting flagyl without doctor the poem is omitted due to copyright. Why the hell should this getting flagyl without doctor be an issue with the audiobook when there's not a problem in the book? Either the getting flagyl without doctor publisher has some lousy lawyers or fair use is even more convoluted than getting flagyl without doctor I ever thought imaginable.
